Top 5 Tatreez Jackets You Can Wear This Season

Last Updated: September 26, 2026

Every Stitch Tells a Story of Heritage and Style

Tatreez, the art of traditional Palestinian embroidery, isn't just decoration. It's a language of identity and resilience that Palestinian women have passed down for generations, one stitch and one story at a time.

At TURATH FASHION, we bring this heritage into modern streetwear. We're a Palestinian-owned brand founded in 2021 in British Columbia, and every jacket is handcrafted at home by our two Palestinian founders. Here are five Tatreez jackets to wear this season, each one a piece of culture you can wear every day.

The Story Behind Tatreez

Tatreez (تطريز) began in Palestinian villages, where a woman's embroidery reflected her roots: her town, her family, even her journey in life. Motifs like the cypress tree, the eight-pointed star, and floral designs carried meanings of steadfastness, hope, and belonging. For what each motif means, see our Palestinian tatreez patterns and meanings guide, and for the full history, read Palestinian Tatreez: History, Meaning, and How It Lives On in Modern Fashion.
